MSI has announced a couple more gaming laptops for AMD supporters – the Alpha 15 and 17 models based on 7nm Ryzen 4000 (Renoir) APUs with discrete Radeon RX 5600M graphics with 6GB GDDR6 buffer are ready to compete for the hearts and wallets of budget gamers.

The main difference between the Alpha 15 and 17 lies in the diagonal of the screens and, therefore, in the weight and size parameters. The smaller model has a 15.6-inch screen and weighs 2.4 kg (body thickness – 26.9 mm), while the larger one has a 17.3-inch screen and weighs 2.6 kg (body thickness – 28 mm). In both cases, the matrix type and resolution are the same – IPS with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, there is support for a refresh rate of 144 Hz and AMD FreeSync Premium. Below is a gallery with the key features of the series and a table with detailed specifications. Alas, details about prices and release dates are still unknown.
